Swag

The brand on the things people keep. A tee, a cap, a tote, a business card: swag is the mark at its most casual, and it is how the brand travels furthest — a conference, a client’s desk, a street. Four pieces exist today, shown here as renders of each, and the rule on every one is the rule that holds everywhere: the mark is placed from its file, never redrawn, on a ground it was made for. Every picture downloads as a PNG under it.

One garment, one mark, nothing else. White or off-white cloth, the full mark — the red disc and the wordmark in its own colours — at the centre of the chest or the front of the crown, and no tagline, product mark or pattern beside it: the cloth and the fit do the work, and the mark reads because nothing competes with it.

A bag is a bigger canvas, and it carries more than a shirt does — one thing per bag. The product ring, with MAFO, MobuppsX and i/RTB inside it and Echo AI on it; the mark with the company line under it and the gradient rule at the foot; or the red disc alone, as large as the bag will take.

The card is white on its face — the name and role in two languages, three ways to reach the person, and the disc large at the edge with the site’s address under it. The back is a wash of the gradient with the mark in white on it, which is the one-colour white mark’s ground.

  • The mark is placed from its file. The full mark on white or light cloth, the one-colour white mark on the gradient or a dark ground, the disc alone — all three are on Logo, with the clear space and the smallest size each survives. A supplier is sent the file, and a redraw of it is refused.
  • One colour, the mark’s own red — and the gradient where a piece has room for it: the product ring, the rule at a tote’s foot, the back of a card. No piece picks a fourth colour; the values are on Colour.

There is no shop. A piece is made to order — for an event, a new office, a client gift — and it starts from one of the four above rather than from a supplier’s catalogue. Ask for it through the request path on Contributing, say which of the four it is nearest to, and send the supplier the mark from the Logo page, never a picture of it.
